The aim

Depression is a mood disorder that may cause severe symptoms that can affect how you feel, think, and handle daily activities such as sleeping, eating, or working. Depression is more common among women than men due to a combination of biological, hormonal, and social factors unique to women. This educational website project discusses depression in women and some gynecological stages of women with higher risks of depression. By understanding the differences and similarities in premenstrual, perinatal, and postpartum depressions, people will have a comprehensive understanding of how all the factors affect the psychological health of women. My goal is to bring more social attention to women's care and to help women in those stages by better understanding them.
